The 21 year old female has been transferred to Waikato Hospital. She was still in a serious but stable condition when she left Gisborne Hospital.
The other occupants of the vehicles are are still in hospital in a stable condition - one in our Intensive Care Unit.

A crash on State Highway 2 near Gisborne has left seven people hospitalised.
A 38 year old male, 18 year old female and 7 year old female who were travelling to Gisborne have all been admitted to Gisborne Hospital. They are all in a stable condition.
A 26 year old male, 21 year old male and a four year old male have also been admitted to Gisborne Hospital in a stable condition. Also in the car was a 21 year old female who is in a serious but stable condition in Gisborne Hospital.
