Georgina joins the Hauora Tairawhiti Consumer Council as Chair with significant governance experience across NGO’s and government. She was born and raised in Ngāti Porou attending school at Tokomaru Bay and Ruatoria. Her current mahi is various contracts with Iwi, Hapu, Business and in the community. She has just been appointed as Chair for Fire and Emergency NZ Local Advisory Group, is an active Justice of the Peace. My passion is for community wellbeing and to provide support as a whānau advocate. Her role is to have a strong and viable voice in planning, designing and delivering services in Tairāwhiti.
